summer insanity

i've been so ridiculously busy with work. I've realized i'm a workaholic. That one windsurfer dude who comes through the drive thru almost every day said he thought i might be that way because he see's me every day during the summer. It's true. I do work a lot. But I like keeping myself occupied. However, realizing this fact has really made me think about how much I actually am doing this summer.

staying at AZA to close the house with exec
coming home for 5 days, getting super sick... going to camp sick
working over-full time at camp for two weeks
Working full time once home from camp
Working full days on my days off sorting cherries (well, just this week, but last week i went out of town, which isn't really relaxing)
taking 6 credits of classes right now (just turned in a paper)
taking a field experience class at the start of September
I have spent the last three nights in a row at the Wells' house.
I completely reorganized and cleaned the upstairs
all the while, i've been keeping in semi contact with my friends from OSU, and elsewhere. Insanity.

I sit upstairs, in my underwears because it's well, it's 80 degrees now, but at 9, it was 90.

I have listened to "The Weasley Stomp" 4 times in a row now.

Today at while working drive-thru, i walk up to the window and it's this one hot marine/military-looking guy in an open top jeep, who i'd seen once before come though, who was, mind you, super attractive (wait, did i say that already?), and tell him that his total was 7.17. he said "wait, what?" I did a double take on the screen and realized my dyslexic moment. it was 8pm. i'd been at work since 1. I'd been up since 8 working on a paper that was due at midnight. I turned back to him and said "sorry, it's 5.17. dyslexic moment. crappy job, and i've been here too long, i got up super early, and i have a paper due tonight at midnight, so i'm not really functioning properly." he looks at me weird, not expecting me to just up and say something like that (we're all stupid drop out robots in the drive thru, right?) and says "you have to write a paper tonight?" "yeah, i'm taking summer classes so i can hopefully graduate college on time." I hand him his change (after charging him the correct amount, and not $2 too much like i originally said. i go get his order because i'm the only one doing drive thru at the time. I come back, and he gives me this other weird look and says "hey, i have kinda a weird question." considering i've been at work all day, i'm thinking, 'ok, you want to add something to your order, or you want sauce' (even though you just got double cheese burgers?...whatever), or something dumb like that. "can i have your number?" WOAH. not what i was expecting at all. i double take and look down to the computer, clearing his order. "uh. no, i dont really give away my number, but i guess you could give me yours if you wanted to." not really thinking about things that much (or ok, not at all...), and thinking he'd just drive off. but he hurriedly grabs one of the napkins out of his bag and scribbles his number on it and gives it to me. I'm too shocked to think about what just happened, and i shove it in my pocket.

i don't really know if i'm going to talk to him, because its kinda awkward... i met him... in the drive-thru? yeah... weird. also because one of the numbers looks more like a Q than a number.

anyway, i need sleep.

i've now listened to "The Weasley Stomp" over 8 times. go me.

why is it that when i have a paper due at 11:59, i want to do anything but write it, and preferably go to bed? but when i'm done with it, i want to stay up late and do random nothingness on the computer? i'm so retarded.

BED for me.
